PPES is looking for a new Communications Manager to be based in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. Responsibilities
  • Write and edit all organizational materials with assistance from other staff as needed.
  • Manage website content ensuring timeliness of updated material; use and expand social networking sites.
  • Gather information for newsletter, write and execute.
  • Create and execute eCRM strategy.
  • Draft press releases when necessary, maintain PR boilerplate, and work with staff to build human interest stories.
  • Oversee integration of electronic media into our communications and fundraising efforts
  • Assist with projects as they arise.

Qualifications
  • Software savvy.
  • Familiarity with Internet, particularly Web 2.0 and social networking environments. Familiarity with web and design fundamentals preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a busy environment.
  • Organized, with the ability to meet overlapping deadlines.
  • Independent team player with respect for co-workers and colleagues.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Creativity and entrepreneurship essential.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Salary
approximately $800 (paid in local Rs)
